Jamie Rose is the Director of Operations and a founding shareholder of Rivermist. He has worked for the Rivermist organization for over 15 years with increasing roles of responsibility starting as a labourer and equipment operator. In the early years, Jamie attended Thompson Rivers University to obtain his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and his Gold Seal in Project Management from the Canadian Construction Association. Upon returning to Rivermist, Jamie applied his education to become an Estimator, Project Manager and Operations Manager. Jamie has been and continues to be instrumental in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Rivermist.
Born and raised in Kamloops, Jamie is planting his own roots having been recently married and now beginning his own family. Jamie is an entrepreneur with other business interests that complement the Rivermist organization. Jamie has managed many projects including government infrastructure, special project development, residential, commercial and industrial project site development. Jamie is committed to performing each project safely, on budget and on schedule.
Harley Jette has over eight years experience working in the construction industry. In 2010, Harley graduated from Murray State University in Kentucky, USA, with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Technology. Harley has been fortunate to have worked with leading civil construction organizations since his graduation, including one in Kamloops. Harley has worked on complex civil construction projects in Kamloops as a Project Manager and Estimator, including subdivision development, water system upgrades (with and without chlorine booster stations), sanitary lagoon upgrades and a large variety of other earth works projects.
As a multi-generational Rancher, Harley has developed an exceptional work ethic that he brings to Rivermist each day. Harley is married and proudly raising his two sons at their ranch in the Heffley Creek area. Harley works to ensure that each project is completed thoroughly with acute attention to every detail in design, engineering, construction and project pricing.
Gerry Spooner is a highly regarded Construction Superintendent within the province of British Columbia. He has extensive experience in the civil industry, having started right out of high school with a very reputable civil contracting firm as a laborer before moving into a pipe layer position. Over the next ten years he worked his way into a supervisory role. During this time Gerry managed projects up to $4,000,000.00 in value including highway and complex deep service projects. He is currently a Gold Seal Intern and is in the process of writing his certification exams. Gerry brings to Rivermist the extensive relationships he has worked to build with many municipalities and professional organizations in British Columbia.
Born and raised in the Kamloops area, Gerry is recently married with a young son and is excited to be settled back in Kamloops after three years based in Fort St. John. His core values reflect those of Rivermist, focusing on safety, quality and relationships. Gerry thrives on the challenges each job presents and strives to exceed client expectations.
