Simpcw First Nation - Chinook Cove Water System Upgrades

default alt text

In May of 2024, Rivermist partnered with the Simpcw First Nation to deliver the Chinook Cove Water System Upgrades Project. Throughout the summer and fall, our team constructed 3.4 km of water line and installed 16 new fire hydrants. We worked closely with the First Nation to tie-in several member homes into the new water system. The project also involved a tie-in to the existing water reservoir and multiple tie-ins to existing water infrastructure.

The project was a success and Rivermist continues to work with Simpcw First Nation on other projects, including the Roads and Drainage Improvements project, which is currently underway.
