Village of Chase - Shepherd Road Extension

Rivermist was awarded the Shepherd Road Extension project by the Village of Chase through a public tender process, with construction taking place in the summer and early fall of 2025. The project involved significant utility and roadway upgrades to support planned future development within this area of the community.

Working in collaboration with our trusted subcontractors—BA Dawson Blacktop, Burcon Slipform, Advanced Electrical Systems, and ATS Traffic—our team successfully delivered the project ahead of schedule. Traffic management was carefully coordinated through a combination of lane closures and temporary detours to maintain safe and reliable access for residents and Chase Secondary School throughout the duration of the work.

The scope of work included upgrades to the storm sewer and water infrastructure, as well as the installation of new curbs, sidewalks, street lighting, and full roadway construction from Brooke Drive to Cottonwood Street.

Good morning, I am a resident on the newly paved site on Shepherd Rd in Chase. I wanted to thank the wonderful crew who worked on this project. My daughter and I spent many hours watching them throughout the entire reconstruction process. We feel very lucky to have met them.
