Thompson Rivers University - TRU Way Extension

In 2022, when Thompson Rivers University needed a new western entrance and exit connecting the campus to McGill Road, they selected Rivermist for the job. This project involved 5,000 square meters of clearing and grubbing, 6,600 cubic meters of soil relocation, and road construction including base gravels, curb and gutter, sidewalk and paving.
As we neared completion, the University tasked us with additional work to complete site preparation works and servicing for the new TRU Research Center, located just off of TRU Way.

Fast Facts:
- Project Scope: Creation of new entrance and exit, preparation works and utility servicing
- Road Construction: 5,000 square meters of clearing and grubbing, 6,600 cubed meters of soil relocation, 355 meters of curb and gutter
- Pedestrian Features: 175 meters of sidewalk
- Utilities: 130 meters of water main (including new fire hydrants), 160 meters of storm sewer (including catch basins and manholes), 145 meters of sanitary sewer (including manholes)
